There are two separate services that you need for a working web site - a domain and a hosting plan for it. Each time you type the domain in your browser, you see the content that’s uploaded inside the website hosting account, but if that domain address isn't linked to such an account or to an email service, it is parked. Put simply, the domain address is registered and you are its owner, but it does not have any content of its own. Rather, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” page from the registrar company, or it may be directed to some other URL of your choice. The main benefit of parking a domain address is that you can keep it and ensure that nobody else is going to take it. At the same time, it will not take a slot for a hosted domain name inside your account. In addition, you can park domain names if you have a .com, for example, and you register domain addresses with other extensions such as .net, .org or country-code ones to forward them to the main site so as to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Hosting

With each and every hosting plan which we offer you are able to park as many domain names as you want and in contrast to other companies, we don't have any fees for that. Needless to say, this can be done exclusively for domain names that are registered through us because parking a domain is possible only through the registrar, and not through the host unless you have the two services with the exact same company. We've got a feature-rich Domain Manager tool where you can effortlessly park and un-park domain addresses, select one of the templates that we offer and add custom text to it, or forward a domain name to a URL of your preference. If you host a parked domain name, our system will modify its name servers and set up a folder in the File Manager automatically. Also you can set filters to check out only the parked or only the hosted domains, that will permit you to handle them really easy.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Servers

Our semi-dedicated servers don't have a restriction for the number of domain addresses that you can park. This function is available for domains that are registered through our company and not ones that are only hosted, since the service is always provided only by the registrar. Parking any of your domains is really basic and takes several mouse clicks with the feature-rich Domain Manager instrument, which you’ll be able to access through your Hepsia hosting CP. You'll have a variety of parking templates to choose from and you can add custom text to each of them - Under Construction, For Sale, Parked Domain, etcetera. Un-parking a domain name is just as easy and what is more, our system will set up all the required records and it will set up a folder within the File Manager section automatically, so you'll not need to do a single thing manually.
