If you start receiving spam, you can begin with the lowest level and then gradually raise the level until you stop receiving spam. We rely on one of the best and most famous email filters available called SpamAssassin. It analyzes the header and the body of each email message that you get and determines a spam score, based on which it either deletes a particular message or allows it to reach your inbox. The Hepsia hosting Control Panel will also permit you to create custom filters and either erase undesirable emails or forward them to a 3rd-party email address like spam@domain.com where you can examine them once more later.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you get a semi-dedicated server package from our company and if you set up one or more mailboxes with any of the domain names hosted in the account, you’ll be able to activate the advanced, five-level SpamAssassin spam filter that we offer and keep all undesired emails away from your inbox. This service is accessible through the Email Manager section of the Hepsia hosting Control Panel and it can be enabled or disabled for any email account at any time. You can also configure the security level with a few mouse clicks in case unsolicited bulk email messages continue to reach your mailbox or the filter starts erasing genuine email messages. Since you can choose if the spam should be deleted immediately or forwarded to some other mailbox, you can set up spam@domain.com, for example, and check all filtered emails there, so as to make certain that you won’t omit a message that you need. The messages that the email filter permits to go through will still appear in your inbox.
